About Matteo Pangallo

Associate Professor of English teaching courses in Shakespeare, early modern drama, dramatic literature, and book history. Books: "Playwriting Playgoers in Shakespeare's Theaters" (2017), "Shakespeare's Audiences" (2021), and "Teaching the History of the Book" (2023). Current projects are on foreign performers in medieval and early modern England and on theatrical failure in Shakespeare's theater.
